An unusual looking universal scissors is model JUGENDSTIL in any case. They come from the house of WILHELM HALBACH, a Solingen steelware factory that was founded in 1977 but ceased to exist in 2020 for lack of a successor. Their scissors and nail nippers were hot forged and only made in house. The scissors are nickel-plated, which protects them from rust, but does not make them rustproof. Keep such instruments clean and dry and you will enjoy them for many years. The epoch JUGENDSTIL can be placed chronologically around the turn of the 19th century in the transition to the 20th. The name can be traced back to the Munich cultural magazine "Jugend", which was distributed from 1896.
