An authentic vintage German blank by GEBRÜDER KARSCHÖLDGEN – a piece that has become increasingly rare. The practicality of these tailor’s shears is revealed in the gold-colored handles, the larger one featuring a reinforced thumb ring for better leverage. The asymmetrical handle design ensures that the lower blade rests completely flat on the cutting surface, so fabric is neither lifted nor shifted while cutting.
The distinctive hammered finish on the blades not only adds a striking visual texture but also provides natural protection against rust thanks to the carbon steel composition. Minor variations in size (inch to cm) are due to manufacturer-specific conversions.
