Only keep your good tweezers in such cases. 
The service life and functionality of your instruments will be much longer than if they are unprotected. Because even with good tweezers, if they fall with their front side on a hard surface, a gripper can break.
Incidentally, “The gripper” has been used as a movie title several times. Twice with Hans Albers as the investigating policeman, once with Jean-Paul Belmondo. And there are probably a few more, not to mention “The Grabber”, but who wants to watch it?  He lives by looking the other way...
