This two-piece safety razor is widely known by its legendary nickname “HD” – Heavy Duty. For more than 80 years, the MERKUR 34G has been famous for its solid weight and excellent balance, allowing the razor to glide smoothly over the skin with minimal pressure.

The handle is made of brass and finished with a 24-carat gold plating. Since the gold coating is applied in a short dipping process, slight visual variations in the polish may occur, making each razor subtly unique.

The closed comb head with straight safety bar and long screw connection provides stable blade positioning and smooth, comfortable shaving results. The short, thick handle combined with the solid weight makes this model extremely easy to control, even for beginners.
