The Grah & Plümacher company from Solingen-Weyer markets its products under the word marks FEINKLANG, GAEL, GOTTA and SILVER RING.
The straight razor blades offered here date from the 1980s. And because wood is a natural product, each piece looks different.
The 4/8 inch size, it is said, is advantageous for taming delicate beards and sideburns. Its narrow shape makes it easier for beginners to use straight razors.
This GOTTA knife is a fine example of a blade that was forged, hardened, ground and stamped entirely in Solingen. It is tested for sharpness before delivery.
