This is a double-edged razor blade, a so-called “Double Edge” (DE for short) blade, suitable for razors from MERKUR, PARKER, FEATHER, PILS, MÜHLE, SHAVETTE, as well as other safety razor models that take DE blades. Its cutting edge is considered gentle, albeit very sharp. In terms of everyday usability, KAI blades are superior to FEATHER blades in that they do not cause irritation and bend less during shaving because they are slightly thicker than the very thin FEATHER double-edge blades.
