OPINEL presents the well-known children's knife no. 7 with a handle made of glass-fibre reinforced polyamide and a built-in whistle. The rounded blade shape is typical for a children's knife and helps to prevent injuries. The JUNIOR is not designed to cut butter, but to spread it thinly and gently. If something does go wrong, the whistle can be used to call for help. The whistle can be heard at up to 110 dB at a range of 300 metres. The whistle works in all weather conditions because it has no ball inside. The outdoor knife is also designed to withstand knocks, water and extreme temperatures of between minus 40 and plus 80 degrees Celsius.
A rustproof blade made of Sandvik 12C27 steel and the Virobloc safety ring are a matter of course, even for a pocket knife for children.
What does that mean, some parents ask who did not have the pleasure of such a cutting tool in their childhood?
The blade can be locked by means of the Virobloc safety ring and thus secured against being closed. So there's no need to worry about squashed fingers.
Is the knife useless once the child has successfully reached puberty? Not at all, and dear parents need not worry about making new major investments either. The rounded blade can be sharpened into a pointed shape when the adolescent is mature enough.
The knife grows with the child, so to speak, provided that the brain does too. But even when it remains round, it is still a knife and not a toy.
Large quantities for many children, colourful children or because it is so wonderfully colourful in all the colours of the rainbow?
