The MERKUR FUTUR has been manufactured in Solingen, Germany, since 1986 and is considered an icon of modern classic wet shaving design. Its distinctive shape, solid metal construction and precise engineering make it one of the most recognizable safety razors worldwide.

The blade gap can be adjusted from level 1 to 6, allowing you to move from a very mild, skin-friendly shave to a highly efficient and close shave. This makes the FUTUR suitable for different skin types, daily shaving or strong beard growth. The numbered scale helps you return to your preferred setting at any time.

To change the blade, the top cap can be removed easily. The razor uses standard double edge blades, which are widely available, affordable and fully plastic-free.

The satin chrome finish offers a refined, elegant look with reduced reflections and excellent grip, making it ideal for everyday use as well as for collectors of classic German shaving tools.

The FUTUR series is also available in polished chrome and gold finish. Matching shaving brushes from the same design line are available to complete the set.
