DOVO Merkur Solingen has been producing this model in the FUTUR design since 1986.
The firmly clamped classic razor blade can be adjusted to different stages from 1-6 to the foam edge.
This allows you to vary from a small, gentle wet shave to a large gap for a closer shave. This optimal
fine adjustment option allows you to perfectly adapt to all skin types, the current skin condition and different beard thicknesses.
Numbering facilitates precise adjustment. The head plate of the FUTUR model can be easily removed to change the blade. The zinc die-cast parts of the FUTUR razor are moulded so that the position of the hole cannot be changed. The mechanism must have some play in order for the electroplating (copper, nickel, chrome) to work. This means that the blade position is never 100% identical on both sides.
A fine, soft, fully lined case with a zip fastener is provided for safe storage when travelling. Handcrafted in Germany on behalf of 1909 RÖDTER, Solingen. The case also has space for small accessories such as a blood-stopping stick.
