The MERKUR FUTUR Duoclip gold-plated is the luxury variant of the iconic, adjustable safety razor from Solingen. Polished 24-karat bright gold meets uncompromising FUTUR engineering: heavy, precise, striking – and built for a shave that can be adjusted exactly from "comfortably gentle" to "maximum thoroughness."

The firmly clamped classic double-edge razor blade (standardized Gillette perforation) can be set from levels 1 to 6. This allows you to alter the blade gap according to your preferences: a small gap for a gentle daily wet shave, a larger gap for a more intensive, exceptionally thorough shave with denser beard growth. The numbering embossed into the handle makes it easy to find your favorite setting again.

Tips for the perfect shave

A sharp blade requires no pressure. The beard hair is cut solely by the pulling motion and an angle of approx. 30°.

From the cheek to the chin.
Begin with the smooth areas (cheeks) at the start, then follow with the neck, and lastly the mouth and chin area – allowing the shaving foam to take effect there for a longer period of time.
