A typical Spanish kitchen and snack knife from PALLARÈS in Solsona with a round boxwood handle that sits comfortably in the hand.
The carbon steel blade stays sharp for a long time, is easy to sharpen and must be washed by hand. It is not rustproof.
These are rustic knives with a final hand deduction, which are best nourished after use, for example with Ballistol oil or another care product.
Then it remains a pleasure to cut herbs, vegetables and sausage with it. Or to open letters and parcels.
If you are looking for a resolute opener. Just don't put it in water, because the boxwood will sink. The Mediterranean wood is too dense.
