The MAGNUM BLACK SPEAR 42 by BÖKER is a tactical knife. The popular original model is now also available in a two-hand version without a serrated edge. The dimensions and the blade made from 440A steel remain unchanged. Equipped with a glass breaker, Linerlock mechanism, clip, and lanyard hole. The clip is not a belt clip but serves to fix the knife, for example, on the inside of the trouser pocket.

This lightweight yet sturdy knife with a window breaker is highly favored as a rescue tool in vehicles and also as a reliable companion for water sports. The name BLACK SPEAR translates to "black spear" or "lance" in English.

A Linerlock is a locking mechanism primarily used in single-hand knives and has been on the market in this design since the 1980s. Between the handle scales, there is a liner that locks and releases the blade. The English word “liner” translates to “platine” in German, and “lock” means “closure,” so a “Linerlock” could simply be called a “liner closure.”

And yet, the English language has a larger variety of terms. Why? Because the Empire has always borrowed terms from other languages and can therefore choose from multiple words for the same thing.
