A serrated edge makes it easier to cut hard and firm food. These are the first to come into contact with the protruding serrated tips. The PRODYNAMIC series is considered lightweight, made for commercial kitchens and the counter area.
Only knives with colored handles, here made of polypropylene, enable clear differentiation of the processed food and thus prevent cross-contamination. An internationally valid color concept has been developed for the risk categories: Yellow stands for poultry. However, if you want to cut fish and shellfish, the color blue is recommended. Red for red meat, green for fruit and vegetables. Brown for cooked food. White for baked goods.
