There are clamps instead of rivets. The stainless steel rings hold the handles in place and pay homage to the year 1905, which is also the name of the knife series. 1905 is a beautiful series with forged blades.
These are honed and sharpened by hand and the F. DICK stamp is also stamped by hand. They have a narrow grind and are perfectly balanced. A scalloped edge on the Santoku prevents sticking. The set includes a matching beechwood knife holder with metal ferrules.
