A folding pocket knife with excellent cutting performance in a small format. For magicians, witches, enchanted beings, and enchanters. The standard version with the magical creature in foliage on the burnished handle.

For almost 100 years, cutlery manufacturer COGNET has been successful on the African market with its DOUK DOUK knife. Designed for sale in the French colonies as a utility pocket knife, the French manufacturer's logo is a DOUK DOUK, an oceanic spirit.

The knife is flat, inexpensive, practical, robust, easy to repair, lightweight, and has a blade with an unparalleled cutting edge made of non-stainless carbon steel. The loop at the end of the handle makes it ideal for attaching to a key ring. Not recommended, but true nonetheless: deserters used to have their noses and ears cut off with these service knives.

This knife was born in the knife factory founded by Antoine COGNET in Thiers, France, in 1902. A trip to Micronesia introduced him to the mythical creatures wrapped in grass and feathers.
