Series 1905 - The exclusive ones.
FRIEDRICH DICK calls these chef's knives “exclusive”. They are a tribute to Art Nouveau, which characterizes the transition from the nineteenth to the twentieth century. Significant are the stainless steel ferrules, which replace the usual rivets. These are just as hygienic because they are completely seamless and inseparably connected to the handle material made of polyoximethylene, a highly durable plastic. The F. DICK marking is embossed by hand. The forged blade is ground to a slim edge, polished and perfectly balanced. To make it easier to resharpen the blade throughout its entire length, and to also reduce weight, the cutting tools have a half bolster.
1905 - The city of Hof in the Kingdom of Bavaria has 36,348 inhabitants. A large proportion are Protestants, around 3500 are Catholics and there are around 80 Jews.
