The "ancient German" blade shape of an EICHENLAUB knife is the most original, oldest design.  It has proven its quality for 130 years.
In contrast to the "Old German" it is of wider stature. However, both shapes fit in their other dimensions to all other cutlery pieces, which have been produced under the Krönchen M since 1924.
Two EICHENLAUB branches, to which the initial is applied by the Merten couple, reveal their makers.
It goes without saying that such craftsmanship requires appropriate care, which calls for hands on. No dishwasher should see the inside of this cutlery.
In case Snow White desires entrance: handle scales made of ebony with soft brown stripes in the basic tone of black. From Africa it comes to you. Brass rivets have been delicately driven into it through wood and steel. Otherwise, the precious wood could be damaged. Just wood? No way. Ebony.
