A HUNTING NICKER, as offered by the Solingen manufacturer HARTKOPF for over one hundred years. The actual task of a hunting nicker is to kill an animal with a fatal stab at the level of the first cervical vertebra, i.e. the atlas or NICKER. The flat tang, known as the full tang in English, runs through the entire handle. The handle scales can be attached to it, which makes such a hunting knife stable.
