From HEROLD, the tubes are green (coarse), red (medium) or black (fine) and are abrasive pastes for grinding belts for fine grinding after sharpening on the stone. They are not suitable for normal honing belts.
The white lime paste is a very fine abrasive paste for the linen strap (back of the professional belt). Neither the white paste nor the grease and abrasive pastes belong on linen.
The yellow grease, a Russia leather cream, makes leather supple, grippy and durable. Because without care, all leather breaks.
Use only one type of paste per strap, and do not mix different pastes on one strap.
A distinction is made between strop and abrading straps, as well as the linen strap (back of the professional strap).
