LILIPUT is the name of the HUBERTUS range of small switchblade knives. The mechanism works with a folding trigger. They are equipped with a classic pike point blade, to which one says "clip point" in English.
Lilliput is a fictional island in Jonathan Swift's book "Gulliver's Travels". It is inhabited by the Lilliputians, who are one-twelfth the size of Gulliver. But greatness comes from within. The handle scales are made of the precious wood rosewood with dark grain.

  German Weapons Act:
The new Weapons Act brings with it changes that also affect the area of knives. Published on October 30, 2024 and entered into force on October 31, 2024, some of the changes are relevant.
Regarding number 14 (§ 58 (24)): This provision introduces a nationwide one-year amnesty for switchblades, starting with the entry into force of the law. The aim of the provision is to reduce the number of illegal switchblades in circulation, which can make a noticeable contribution to internal security. As with the last weapons amnesty in 2017, the transportation of switchblades for surrender to the competent authority or a police station is also to be subject to the regulation. This privilege applies only to the direct route from the place where switchblades are stored to the place of surrender to a weapons authority or police station. Furthermore, the surrender of the illegally possessed switchblade in the administrative proceedings is not sanctioned to the effect that the person concerned is deemed unreliable under weapons law. This would defeat the object and purpose of the amnesty – surrender of the illegally possessed switchblades. - 48 - Processing status: 07.09.2024 02:47 Re number 15 (Annex 2, Section 1, number 1.4.1) This is a necessary consequential amendment to number 13 letter b. In the future, all switchblades will be prohibited. However, a blanket ban on all switchblades would not meet the requirements of proportionality. In the future, however, handling these switchblades will only be possible if the person concerned can claim a legitimate interest that requires the use of a switchblade with one hand. A legitimate interest exists in particular if the use is in connection with the practice of a profession (e.g. hunting) or for sports (e.g. sailing or mountaineering). The same applies to commercial dealers or manufacturers of such knives. A legitimate interest also exists for persons who cannot use knives that can be opened with two hands, for example, due to a missing arm or a missing or dysfunctional hand.
