FORGE DE LAGUIOLE pocket knives TRADITION established in 1909
The most popular FORGE DE LAGUIOLE pocket knives. Available in olive wood, juniper, horn, thuja, seasoned oak, ebony, etc.
This category also includes knives with a handle length of 11 cm and a blade length of about 9.5 cm.
The blade steel T12 steel from Bonpertius, forged like a bee and a feather, guilloché work with a file and an awl, hand-polished, satin-finished and always made by one and the same hand.
The same rule applies to all models: close quietly. Only then will the blade not hit you and can still experience the 13th chime of midnight.
Manufacturer: Forge de Laguiole, handcrafted in France with the bee or the fly on the back.
The Laguiole knife was created at the beginning of the nineteenth century as an indispensable tool for the farmers of the Aubrac.
Today, tradition, authenticity and values are what make a “FORGE DE LAGUIOLE” knife of the highest quality.
The Forge de Laguiole carries out every step of the process in its own workshop, from forging and cutting the metal parts, preparing and finishing the handles, assembling and polishing the blades and attachments (mitres), to the final touches.
Adjustment, mechanics and workmanship to the highest standards. The blades are individually forged in T12 steel.
The woods and materials of the handles are individually selected and chosen.
Knives from Forge de Laguiole meet the criteria of the collective trademark “LAGUIOLE ORIGINE GARANTIE”.
The production of a knife is in the hands of one knifemaker from start to finish.
Please close the blade quietly. In France, this is how you recognize a grown man.
Then the blade won't open and you will be able to enjoy your knife for many years: Ressort silencieux vivra vieux.
