About the Brand

Nice, if that suits you. The company is run by a man named Müller – hence the brand name MÜHLE (meaning “mill” in German). For three generations now, high-quality tools for traditional wet shaving have been manufactured in Saxon Stützengrün, Germany.

They now also produce brushes made from durable synthetic fibers, so all the badgers – affectionately known as "Grimbart" in old German fables – can keep both their beards and their lives. Let’s be honest, their coat suits them best. As a tribute to the wild creature, a dark stripe – the "mirror" – is dyed into the synthetic bristles to mimic the natural look.

The ROCCA Series

Made from the finest and most robust stainless steel.
The surface is satin-finished – gently matte – pleasing to both hand and eye.
The name ROCCA (Italian for “rock” or “fortress”) stands for top-notch materials and solid craftsmanship.

Thanks to its ergonomic shape and grippy texture, the handle fits perfectly in the hand. And here comes the highlight: birch bark. Velvety and warm to the touch – completely unlike cold metal or slick plastic. This natural material has proven itself over millennia: durable, grippy even when wet, and easy to maintain. In fact, it still ignites when damp, and the inner layer is even edible (yes, really!). It contains xylitol – a sugar alcohol that’s toxic to dogs, so please don’t share your shaving gear with your Labrador.

If all else fails, you could boil the handle and test the xylitol levels for, say, purely scientific curiosity. We're not recommending it, but the thought lingers.

Want to replace the brush head? No problem – eco-friendly and cost-effective. The heavy-duty, elegant handle remains yours to keep. The new brush head simply screws in.
