And this OSMA shaving soap is wonderfully easy to shave with. Because it contains shea butter, it moisturizes the skin and conjures up a subtle scent of lemons and fresh laundry on the face. If your hand with the blade slips, the alum it contains will stop the blood flow a little.
And because it is a hard bar of soap, it can also be lathered up in the plastic container in which it is supplied. The advantage of OSMA soap is that it lasts much longer than other shaving soaps because it is harder to the touch. However, it must be soaked in water before use, which takes more time for the ritual of the daily feel-good shave.
The only thing you shouldn't do is eat it. Yet it contains 100% natural ingredients. The alum used is still mined in France today. The soap bars are sometimes whiter, sometimes a little more yellow. Both are perfectly fine, this only has to do with the drying of the product and does not affect the smell or quality.
