I currently offer thirty pairs of pliers in this section. How can I describe them all to you in a nutshell?
This could turn out to be a tong birth.
Firstly, the manufacturers whose products I consider to be the best and therefore offer for sale:
ALPEN from Italy, DOVO, DREITURM, WILHELM HALBACH, HK Hans Kniebes, HANS WILHELM BÖKER, ZWILLING HENCKELS all from Solingen in Germany.
On the other hand, here is a brief overview of the different instruments:
I carry skin nippers that are only made for cutting skin. Please heed this advice for use, otherwise you could ruin the most expensive instrument irretrievably if you use it for other destinations. I offer such skin nippers in the classic plier shape, but also, because they are often requested and much sought after, in a scissor shape with eyes. Nevertheless, they remain pliers.
Then there are corner nippers, which are used for trimming strong nails, as some people wear on their thumbs and feet. But also for rough skin cuts. And there are corner nippers, as well as nail nippers, specifically for diabetics or physically impaired people. Special care must be taken when caring for their nails in order to minimize the risk of injury.
Nail nippers are indispensable for shortening and pre-shaping strong, firm nails on the hand and foot. In contrast to nail scissors, this is not achieved by shearing, but by wedge cutting. The longer pliers arms provide a strong leverage effect. And because the pliers are gripped with the whole hand, you can apply more force when using them. Nail nippers are also available in plier and scissor form.
They can be processed in different qualities: “laid on” or “pushed through”.
I would like to emphasize that the higher quality pliers are produced in a box joint design. In addition, the box joint manufacturing method, in which one plier blade is “pushed through” the second blade, which is widened when red-hot, ensures a high level of stability. The cutting edges meet precisely.
For creatures with little strength in their fingers due to rheumatism or other impairments, I recommend pliers with a double transmission.
The special shape of the cutting edge, to which the pliers also owe their name of head or cross cutter, allows them to be handled at a favorable angle. Head cutters are universally applicable tools for pedicure, whose special shape allows them to work in both directions and without cutting. This shape is ideal for performing a successful manicure or pedicure on others. This is why many podiatrists like to use them for their treatments.
There is also a difference between a male user and a woman with small hands and fine nails. In this case, the woman needs a finer tool, lighter and more fragile in design.
And finally: Do you prefer stainless steel or nickel-plated? If nickel-plated, you must always keep the pliers dry, just like your sheep, and nourish them from time to time. And with a little oil.
I would be happy to help you find the right instrument for you.
You determine the price range. Stinginess is not cool. Originally, horny means cheerful. You will be happy if you always have the right tool at your disposal, which can be sharpened if necessary and for whose individual parts, such as springs, replacements can be provided.
A firm grip on my pliers.
