This sapphire nail file from ZWILLING HENCKELS is available from the Scharfer Laden in lengths of 13 cm and 18 cm.

Files should always be used in one direction, with the coarse side shaping and the fine side smoothing. So no “scratching away with malicious intent to create a gap in the bridge.” That's only acceptable for Max and Moritz, but not for fingernails or toenails. The end of the handle is flattened so that it can be used as a cuticle pusher. After filing, it is recommended to apply oil to the nail bed and nail to prevent breakage. The file can be cleaned of filing dust by running it under running water. Then dry with a lint-free cloth or a hair dryer.
