The shorter bread knife with serrated edge from the ALPHA FASSEICHE series. With such a grind, the first contact is always the tip of the sharp saw tooth, so as not to crush the food being cut. Which, in the case of bread with a crispy crust, means the integrity of the crumb. However, the beautiful knife also helps when cutting pineapple, or pumpkin as well as a melon. 
In collaboration with star chef Harald Rüssel, whose gourmet restaurant and hotel Landhaus St. Urban is located in a side valley of the wine-growing region Mosel-Saar-Ruwer, GÜDE has created this series - not only - for wine lovers and cooking enthusiasts.
The blade is hand-forged from one piece in chrome-vanadium-molybdenum knife steel. Its further processing takes place in over forty manual operations. The handle scales are made of the oak wood of over 80 years old wine barrels, which has become almost indestructible due to the long maturation.
Wash, lay, dry only by hand, please. Sometimes a little oil to saturate the knife and for you a sip of red wine from the barrel oak.
