A classic chef's knife from the ALPHA FASSEICHE series with a blade length of 21 cm. A universal tool in the kitchen used for vegetables, fruit, meat and fish. The best-selling blade length in Europe is between 20 and 21 cm, because it corresponds to the average measurement of an elbow.
In collaboration with star chef Harald Rüssel, whose gourmet restaurant and hotel Landhaus St. Urban is located in a side valley of the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer wine-growing region, GÜDE has created this series - not only - for wine lovers and cooking enthusiasts.
The blade is hand-forged in one piece in chrome-vanadium-molybdenum knife steel. Its further processing takes place in over forty manual operations. The handle scales are made of the oak wood of over 80 years old wine barrels, which has become almost indestructible due to the long maturation. Pre-aged wine barrels, i.e. containers in which wines matured for years, are characterized by stress cracks as well as notches in the wood. Lived life that leaves its wonderful traces.
Wash, lay, dry only by hand. Sometimes a little oil to saturate the knife and for you a sip of red wine from the barrel oak.
