This FRIEDRICH HARTKOPF Model NICKER is a traditional German hunting knife, handmade in Solingen, Germany, following patterns that have been produced for more than a century. The blade is made from polished stainless X50CrMoV15 (1.4116) steel, offering good corrosion resistance, reliable edge retention and easy maintenance.
The knife is built with a full tang construction, meaning the flat steel runs through the entire handle. This provides excellent stability and makes the knife suitable for demanding outdoor and hunting tasks. A finger guard at the transition to the blade improves safety and control during use.
The handle is fitted with genuine deer antler scales, securely fastened with multiple rivets. The natural structure of the antler gives each knife an individual appearance and a firm, comfortable grip, even in cold or wet conditions.
The knife is supplied with a brown leather slip sheath with metal fittings, suitable for belt carry and traditional hunting attire. Whether used as a practical hunting tool, a classic Trachtenmesser or a sturdy outdoor knife, this Jagdnicker represents authentic Solingen craftsmanship built for long-term use.
A traditional hunting knife with honest materials, solid construction and a clear purpose.
