HEROLD's leather grease, a Russia leather cream, makes leather supple, grippy and durable. Because without care, all leather breaks.
However, you should note the following when using it: Apply the grease sparingly to the taut, dry and clean belt – too much grease also makes leather brittle – by rubbing it in with the ball of your hand. The heated leather absorbs the moisture. It is better to use too little than too much at first, as the distribution will even out with repeated use. Do not turn your strap into a bacon rind.
The yellow paste is pure fat for leather care. This is applied to the stropping strap, which is used for daily stropping.
You should use only one type of paste per belt; do not mix different pastes on one belt.
A distinction is made between honing and grinding belts, as well as the linen belt (back of the professional belt).
The white grinding paste is applied to the linen side.
