Balbach Meteorite Damascus Hunting Knife
Rarity: Handmade, fascinating knife with blade made of 360-layer meteorite damask and handle made of blue stabilized burl wood.
Exclusive to GASTON®: the damascus plate from which the blade is made was traditionally crafted in the renowned damascus forge of Markus Balbach in Germany.
Knife in the style of the famous, American knifemaker Bob Loveless (*1929 - † 2010).
Made in small series. Each knife is unique and comes with serial number.

A real feast for the eyes for the lover of the special. The well-balanced, handmade damask knife impresses with its well-balanced design as well as the accurate and exquisite workmanship.
The non-stainless, 360-layer meteorite damask with appealing torsion pattern was made exclusively for GASTON® in the traditional welded composite process in the forge of Markus Balbach.
The sturdy, full-length "tapered tang" blade with its slightly sloping tip (drop point blade) is robust and easy to handle. It allows for a safe and clean cut.
The riveted burl wood handle scales have been blue stabilized and complement the blade's appearance perfectly. This natural product may have minor openings.
The all purpose hunting knife has a brushed stainless steel hand guard.
