The Dan is the successful design of a modern everyday pocket knife, which Tommaso Rumici has adapted to the requirements of daily life as well as to the different preferences and regulations regarding carrying. As a slipjoint mechanism, the "action stopper" acts via two detent balls that lock the blade open as well as closed, but do not lock it. The protruding base of the blade allows it to be opened easily with the thumb, making it extremely comfortable to use. The scales are contoured to be hand-friendly, and the convertible clip (l/r, tip-up) allows different ways of carrying. The anodised spacer of the handle is made of titanium.
