Old-fashioned, unique manufacturing processes as well as a knife design from 1932 make this knife something special. The design was discovered in old, dusty pattern books of the manufacturer, a manufactory in Solingen that has been around for more than 175 years.
In order to be able to make this special knife, old tools were restored or newly made. Innovation, as well as experience, flowed in equal parts into the intricate manufacturing process.
The 320-layer, non-stainless damascus of the blade was made by one of the most famous German damascus smiths using material from the barrel of the G3 assault rifle.

Details
The knife model was made based on drawings from the manufacturer's pattern books from 1932.
The knife body (skeleton) consists of two stamped brass beads, each with a welded-on nickel silver bolster, the back spring, a toggle attached to the back spring, an intermediate piece and a blade made of G3 damascus.
The resulting unit "tang" and "bolsters" is called a hilt.
The used damascus steel from an old G3 assault rifle makes this folding knife a noble unique specimen.
The blade is fixed. The blade is unlocked by a sophisticated mechanism, which is triggered by the toggle (material: nickel silver).
For the production of the knife body, the parts are permanently riveted to each other. The way of making the folding knife is similar to the way the knife was assembled many decades ago.
The scales of the knife are made of stabilized bog oak.
Still in the form of a rectangular scantling, the wooden scales are carefully joined to the knife skeleton by nickel silver pins and then permanently riveted.
After more than 100 different operations, this pocket knife is made of high quality materials by experienced professionals, extremely durable, cutting and high value.
