Please note that this full-metal butterfly safety razor has not been produced for many years. Replacement parts are no longer available, making this model especially attractive for collectors and enthusiasts of classic German shaving engineering.

The two-piece head opens via the butterfly mechanism to insert standard double edge blades. The blade gap can be adjusted steplessly to suit individual skin sensitivity and beard strength. The side scale on the razor helps you easily return to your preferred setting.

The MERKUR VISION is, quite literally, a heavy-duty razor. Its solid construction provides excellent balance and very direct shaving feedback, appreciated by experienced wet shavers.

Cleaning: After each shave, rinse the razor thoroughly and remove soap residue and hair immediately. This keeps the moving parts smooth and ensures long-term mechanical reliability. For heavy limescale buildup, occasional soaking in diluted vinegar, lemon solution or denture cleaner is recommended.

Manufacturing tolerances on the MERKUR VISION are normal and necessary for mechanical function. The blade gap is therefore not perfectly parallel to the safety bar, which has no negative effect on shaving performance.
