The birch bark handle feels pleasantly warm and velvety. This natural material has proven its durability over thousands of years and remains grippy even when wet, while being easy to maintain. Birch bark can even be ignited when wet and the lower layer is technically edible as it contains the sugar alcohol xylitol.
