The BLOC OSMA alum stone is a 100% natural mineral stone. It acts antiseptically and astringently, thereby alleviating razor burn and skin irritations.
Laboratoires Osma has been manufacturing alum stones from 100% pure crystalline alum in France since 1957. BLOC OSMA alum stone is a 100% natural stone from the French Massif Central mountains, where it is still quarried in small quantities and manually processed by Osma. The alum stone contains no preservatives, no dyes, no perfume, causes no allergies, is economical, and extremely long-lasting.
Moisten the alum stone and gently stroke over the skin after wet shaving as an aftershave or before electric shaving as a preshave.
Can also be used as a deodorant.

The original alum styptic from OSMA in France very effectively seals minor scratches and cuts that may occur during shaving – or when handing a prickly rose to your hopefully much less prickly sweetheart.
Thanks to the omission of preservatives, dyes, and perfumes, it is also ideally suited for sensitive skin. Can be used before shaving as a skin tighter or afterward: Simply moisten the alum stone and carefully stroke over the irritated or injured skin areas. It is antiseptic and astringent in its effect.
I always keep one ready in the cutlery drawer in case I cut myself in my own flesh while cooking. Hold the crystal against it, endure a little burning, scream very quietly out loud, and the blood flow is stopped. Afterward, hold the pencil under water to clean it and slide it back into the tube to be prepared for the next carelessness. Do not drop it, otherwise you will have a crystal rain on the floor.
