Product Description

OTTER has made a catch. The new brand ROTWILD stands for hunting and outdoor knives, all manufactured in Solingen.

The SPERBER model features a blade, tang, and guard forged from a single piece of steel. This half-integral construction ensures greater robustness compared to knives assembled from multiple parts. True to tradition, the handle scales are crafted from genuine stag horn, with a uniform pearling that is carefully ground towards the edges.

The guard is serrated on the spine, providing a textured thumb rest for secure handling. Such a fixed-blade knife is perfectly suited for hunting tasks, such as field dressing hoofed game (“Schalenwild”), or for unbloody adventures in the outdoors. In hunting terminology, “Schalenwild” refers to ungulates, whose hooves are encased in horn — hence the name “Schale.”

The set is completed by a brown leather sheath with a belt loop on the back.
