The SWISS MODERN series from VICTORINOX is characterised by a straight, unembellished handle. In this case, it is made of sage-blue plastic and ends in a steak blade with a sharp serrated edge. This ensures that the meat fibres are cut, not torn. From the T-bone steak, named after the T-shape of its bone, and the rib-eye steak from the rib. Which resembles an eye, but is actually a muscle strand. Cut the pizza, not crushed it; divide the asparagus, not pluck it.
The salami cut into slices, the bread cut in half and fruit and vegetables with thick skin cut into thin slices.
After use, the little knife can even go in the dishwasher, which, incidentally, was invented by a woman. Josephine Cochrane, born on International Women's Day, 8 March 1839. What a coincidence. The woman is self-sufficient. What else could her motto in life be?
