MINAMOTO is an honorary name that was reserved for the sons and grandsons of the Japanese imperial family until the twelfth century, after they had left the imperial family and thus assumed the status of subjects. The honorary name denotes imperial descent. And so the term MINAMOTO is used for root or origin.
You can choose between stainless steel or rosewood chopsticks. Their angular design makes them particularly easy to grip. Ergonomic shape, easy to clean.
The oldest finds indicate the use of chopsticks as early as 3500 years ago. In Korea, they are also often supplemented with a spoon. At 25 cm, Chinese chopsticks are longer than those used in Japan. In China, the individual dishes are lined up in the middle in company. A certain arm's length is required to pass the food, whereas in Japan it is served at the seat. So if you arrive at the Chinese restaurant with the Japanese chopsticks, you should have long arms or invite a nice creature to the meal to feed you. At "Nyotaimori" the food is served on a female body, at "Nantaimori" on a male one. Naked sushi. Or would you prefer naked sushi in a wok?
