The Forge de Laguiole forge carries out every step of the work in its own workshop, forging and cutting the metal parts, preparing and machining the handles, assembling and polishing the blades and liners (mitres), right up to the final polish. Adjustment of mechanics and processing for highest demands.
The blades are individually forged in T12 steel.
The woods and materials of the handles are individually selected and chosen.
Knives from Forge de Laguiole fulfill the criteria of the collective brand " LAGUIOLE ORIGINE GARANTIE "
The production of a knife is in the hands of a knifemaker from start to finish.
Please close the blade quietly. ( In France you can recognize a grown man by this ) Then the blade will not open and you will have many years of pleasure with the knife : Ressort silencieux vivra vieux
