FORGE DE LAGUIOLE launched a flower series in 2018, named EDITION FLEUR.
Characteristics are that both the bee and the ressort, in German the feather, are made in one piece and chased by hand.
The flower names are based on the design of the guilloches, in this case daffodils, French NARCISSE. This is because daffodil, gentian and broom are typical plants of the Aubrac plateau, where FORGE is based. And it is in a building designed by Philippe Starck. An aluminum facade in the shape of a blade rises into the sky to make visible everywhere where the sharpness is at home.
In the model presented here, the handle is made of olive wood, matching the lugs, as well as the blade satin finish.
A cross with the shepherds? That's how it should be, unmistakably traditional inlaid in the handle. Amen.
