The Böker Applegate-Fairbairn in its various versions has been convincing operational forces all over the world for years and has thus reached the status of a true icon. The tactical mission knife goes back to the classic Fairbairn-Sykes dagger from World War 2 and was designed by Col. Rex Applegate in collaboration with Captain W.E. Fairbairn. The elite soldier coordinated clandestine operations throughout Europe during the war and was even used to personally guard President Franklin D. Roosevelt. He trained Allied special forces in close combat and founded the School for Spies and Assassins at what is now Camp David. He later continued to work as a consultant and instructor, wrote numerous books on hand-to-hand combat techniques, and began developing and improving the perfect combat knife.

The sand-colored fiberglass-reinforced plastic handle with integrated stainless steel weights fits securely in the hand, and the matte-blasted 440C blades and PVD-coated toggles and bolts complement each other beautifully.
Supplied with likewise sand-colored Kydex sheath and a matching belt adapter.
