A rustic Spanish kitchen knife in traditional design. With its Catalan origin, it fits wonderfully into old houses, summer houses and country kitchens. But you will also often find it in new abodes when you look in the kitchen shop. Because PALLARÈS is the only remaining knife manufacturer in Solsona, which used to be the equivalent of the German Solingen as a blade metropolis. There, they still make these country-typical shapes in different sizes and various hilt materials. Cut blades, cheap to buy, reliable in performance.
Carbon steel is not rustproof, but very sharp and therefore very popular with connoisseurs because it is easier to resharpen. Boxwood is a particularly dense wood that is often used for handles in Spain and France. There is plenty of it there, but the tree is allowed to enjoy the landscape for a good forty years before it is felled.
