The correct inclination determines the grinding success. It should be between 15 - 20 degrees. You can also try placing a coin under the blade to check this. The height of the coin then corresponds to the correct angle of inclination, but you cannot sharpen like this. For the inexperienced but willing sharpening novice, it is therefore possible to use such an aid at the beginning. This is available in a large version with a length of 10 cm and a shorter version for correspondingly small blades. It is placed on the back of the blade to maintain a constant sharpening angle. If you also attach a test strip to the same place in advance, you will avoid scratch marks in any case. Supplied empty, unequipped and without blades.
