Traditional and funky do not go together? Svörd Knives proves the opposite and presents with the Peasant Knife a practical everyday knife, which is oriented in the design to classic and centuries-old peasant knives. The knife is opened by a blade spur, an extension on the back of the blade that ensures easy operation of the knife. Also known as a friction folder, the blade spur disappears into the handle when the blade is open and is enclosed by the hand as a counter-pressure. When the knife is closed, the 15N20 carbon steel blade simply folds back. The handle scales are copper.
Svörd Knives was founded in 1983 by Bryan Baker in New Zealand. The knives of Svörd Knives are robust working knives and utility knives.
They wedren in affectionate manual labor manufactured.
The sharpened blades are made exclusively of Sandvik L6 steel, a carbon steel of very high toughness and edge retention.
